Wealth Management Representative

The Role

Lending Loop is looking for a full-time Representative to join the Wealth Management team and be on the front lines talking to prospective and current clients. We’re looking for a bright and energetic self-starter to liaise with clients daily, actively participate in hosting webinars/seminars, preparing presentations and assist in building out our investor base. The ideal candidate will have an interest in building a career in Wealth and Client Management and have a passion for small business and technology.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide high quality and timely engagement with our investor community, including retail, high net worth and corporate/institutional lenders through email and phone

  • Help clients plan and make the right financial decisions and in doing so help to build relationships and trust with new and existing investors

  • Promote Lending Loop to the Canadian investment community through seminars, conferences and events

  • Launch, manage and improve email and phone campaigns that promote investment growth and promote investment strategies to help clients achieve their goals

  • Advocate for lenders when working with product and marketing teams

  • Deliver a best-in-class client experience to clients via phone and email

  • Prepare investment offering teasers and succinct educational presentations

  • Work with Head of Wealth Management on targeted investor campaigns

  • Comfortable handling a high volume of phone and email interactions with investors

  • Handle basic phone customer support for investors using the Lending Loop platform.

  • Adhoc projects as they arise (and they will arise)

Desired Qualities, Skills, and Experience:

  • Currently registered or registerable, or have completed the Canadian Securities Course (CSC) Exam or the Exempt Market Proficiency course within the last two years or willing to complete exam within 30 days

  • 1 – 2 years of relevant work experience in a client facing role

  • Knowledge and proven interest of financial markets and investment industry

  • Positive attitude and team player with excellent business and interpersonal communication skills

  • Curiosity and willingness to test investor acquisition channels

  • Self-starter accustomed to managing multiple projects and working in a dynamic work environment

  • Strong work ethic with an eye for detail and always in the pursuit of excellence

  • Proven ability to work within tight timelines and high volume of interactions

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Bonus Points:

  • Experience providing investment advice/recommendations to clients at an investment dealer, exempt market dealer, discount brokerage or investment fund

  • Track record of originating new business

  • Experience in running online/offline marketing campaigns such as webinars, email campaigns and presenting at seminars

  • Experience using Salesforce

  • Previous experience with customer support ticketing software, such as desk, zendesk or equivalent.
