The ideal candidate is a developer who is excited by the prospect of building the future of Canadian finance. As a Salesforce developer, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining core functionality for loan servicing and sales teams.

As a member of the technical team in a start-up environment, you will be playing a key role in laying the technical foundation of the company that includes building critical infrastructure and fixing bugs.

Desired Qualities, Skills, and Experience

  • 3+ years of experience developing custom Salesforce functionality

  • Degree in Computer Science and/or Software Engineering

  • Solid exposure or experience with Apex, Visualforce, SOQL/SOSL

  • Strong proficiency with Java, HTML/HTML5, Javascript, CSS

  • Develop user interface, back end logic, integration with third party systems, web services, data transformation and migrations as required

  • Deep understanding of configuration options and permissions

  • Exceptional written and verbal communication capabilities

  • The ability to manage a number of projects and meet deadlines

Bonus Points

  • Previous experience building software for the financial services industry

  • Familiarity with the Salesforce REST API and other external data services

  • Experience with web frameworks such as Node.js, Django and/or Ruby on Rails
