As Operations Coordinator at Lending Loop, you will be responsible for executing mission-critical tasks related to loan operations,treasury and collections. The role requires an individual with excellent attention to detail who is a natural problem solver. You will also play an important role in creating and implementing standards and processes relating to loan operations and servicing at Lending Loop.

Key Responsibilities

  • Completing KYC on client onboarding.

  • Identifying fraudulent documents.

  • Maintaining existing controls strategies and existing policies.

  • Diligently checking required documents have been received and completed correctly.

  • Recording, scanning and managing borrower documents.

  • Improving processes and control procedures.

  • Using online tools and portals to verify information electronically.

  • Execute and oversee funds transfers and the transfer of funds for loan origination.

  • Work with members of the Account Management and Credit teams to ensure proper record management processes are followed and maintained.

  • Register liens/security interests while maintaining perfect accuracy.

  • Communicate with borrowers by phone and email to follow up on and collect outstanding payments.

  • Compose formal correspondence with borrowers, including document requests, demand letters and more.

  • Work with outside legal counsel and collection agencies to collect from delinquent borrowers.

Desired Qualities, Skills, and Experience

  • Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.

  • Ability to follow procedures and guidelines to successfully follow requirements.

  • Post-secondary diploma or degree preferred.

  • 2+ years experience in loan operations, collections, or account management.

  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.

  • Desire to work in a very fast-paced environment with frequently changing requirements.

  • Excellent attention-to-detail, organizational and time management skills are a must.

  • Proficiency using Microsoft Word and Excel, and Salesforce CRM or similar tools.
