Direct Marketing Specialist

The Role

Lending Loop is looking for a full-time Direct Marketing Specialist to join the team to manage and grow our direct mail and content channels, with a core focus on customer acquisition. We’re looking for a creative, detail-oriented and data-driven individual to help drive direct response marketing efforts at Lending Loop. This position will report to the Head of Performance Marketing.

Your Day-to-Day:

  • Manage all print vendors, working to reduce costs while increasing quality, deliverability, and response.

  • Refine and implement robust list segmentations to improve direct mail targeting.

  • Own all content marketing initiatives, including the company blog and editorial calendar.

  • Write clean, concise, error-free copy that makes use of SEO best practices.

  • Develop and implement ongoing A/B tests and CRO plans to optimize and improve channel performance month-over-month.

  • Collaborate across departments to ensure we are aligned with and executing on the goals and priorities of the business.

  • Own lead importation from 3rd party sources into SFDC, ensuring compliance with naming conventions, campaign requirements, and do not mail requests.


Our ideal teammate has:

  • 2-3 years of experience in Marketing roles, with at least 1 year in planning and executing direct mail campaigns for B2B companies required.

  • Excellent communication skills, including the ability to synthesize data into understandable information that supports effective decision making

  • Strong project management, time management and cross-functional coordination skills

  • Strong analytical skills and experience with experimental design (e.g. A/B and multivariate testing).

  • Consistent record of independently designing and executing successful direct mail campaigns.

  • Experience creating content for direct mail format and a business audience.

  • Self-starter, able to work independently, as well as collaboratively on objectives and KPIs as a part of the larger performance marketing team.

  • Ability to lead and get the most out of our print vendor relationships.

  • Bachelor’s degree, ideally with a focus on business, marketing or data analysis


Bonus Points

  • Experience in the B2B lending industry.

  • Experience with Salesforce.com or other CRM.

  • Experience with Pardot or other marketing automation software
