Lending Loop is looking for a smart, energetic, highly motivated and organized Chief of Staff to help drive business operations and support key strategic initiatives. This role is highly influential and requires strategic planning, business management, internal communications, and cross-functional initiatives. The Chief of Staff will report directly to the CEO, work to ensure alignment with our leadership team and establish key processes to optimize performance and accelerate growth at Lending Loop. You will need to adapt to a very fast paced environment which brings new challenges every day.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist the CEO in day-to-day tasks, responsibilities and communication;

  • Manage, in collaboration with the CEO, yearly and quarterly planning, tracking and reviews for all teams;

  • Assist the CEO in coordinating operations and reporting with direct reports including sales, marketing, technology, credit and risk;

  • Organize agendas for all staff meetings (management, revenue, sales, operations, credit etc.) and manage follow-up actions;

  • Keep the company focused and aligned on priorities by leading the company’s goal setting and operational planning processes;

  • Support special projects and strategic projects. Monitor progress of key initiatives and priorities by meeting regularly with managers to track results and challenges;

  • Drive strategic cross-functional initiatives, projects, and commitments most important to the leadership team;

  • Attend meetings and participate in projects with our leadership team and others;

  • Facilitate effective use of functional meetings such as weekly leadership team meetings, company all-hands, and quarterly leadership offsites;

  • Serve as the central point of contact for all internal communication.

Desired Qualities, Skills, and Experience

  • A Bachelor’s degree and at least 3+ years of relevant experience;

  • Strong critical thinking and problem solving skills;

  • Strong organizational skills with excellent relationship building, communication skills and negotiation skills;

  • Holds people accountable for achieving goals;

  • Self-starter attitude and track record;

  • Ability to seamlessly and quickly execute complex projects with minimal guidance;

  • Detail oriented with an ability to think strategically and make recommendations;

  • Excellent data analysis and reporting skills.

Bonus Points

  • Experience with;

  • Experience in the technology industry or with a technology startup;

  • Team lead or managerial experience;

  • A lender on Lending Loop!
